Never forget 9.11.01
I was in 2nd grade the day the world stopped turning. 2nd grade. I had no idea what had happened. My teacher Mrs. Schwab and the other Elementary teachers were scared and afraid some even crying. That day I had no idea what had happened but I knew something bad happened. It has been 13 years now and I am 20 years old with a 6 month old daughter. I now understand what happened that day. I understand that it was a terrorist attack. That there were 3 planes that had been hijacked. Two hit the towers and brave citizens took back control of the third and it crashed into a field. I am from Texas, which is a long ways away from there but I am an American. I feel pain and hurt for the loved ones that were lost that day. The heroes that stood up and gave their live to help save others. I saw a post on instagram today of a picture that make me stop and smile. It was a picture of the towers and angels flying around them. The angels were there to guild the new angels to Heaven. The 13 year old angels have not been forgotten and never will be. I may not know the names of the ones that were lost but I do think about them. The fathers/husbands that never came home. The Mothers/wives that never came home. The sons, daughters, best friends, neighbors, boyfriends, girlfriends, college roommate, childhood friends that never came home. Then I remember the heroes, the first responders, firefighters, policemen, and brave citizens that helped save people that day.
I remember. I will always remember. God Bless the USA. Hug and Kiss your family and tell them you love them. Take a moment of silent to think about the ones who were lost.
XO,
Jeannie
